The focus is on debt capital markets, forex, ESG and SRI, Islamic Finance, with the participation of sovereign governments, supra-national financial institutions and corporations. Giada Vercelli
Founder
The award-winning author of a book on women and the 2008 financial crisis, Giada has championed financial literacy, diversity and inclusion throughout her career as a financial journalist in Wall Street and the City of London. As the first TV correspondent from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq for Bloomberg Television and SKY TV-Italy, she covered the financial markets and the US presidential elections. In her capacity as global co-chair of the women's professional network WINS at Standard & Poor's she developed the group's Research multimedia platform. As Director of Content at Euromoney, she has organized and moderated financial conferences on behalf of sovereign governments in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa and of supranational organisations such as the OECD, the EBRD, and the World Bank. For the OECD she has presented the yearly Business and Financial Outlook and the PISA score on Financial Literacy. Giada holds an MA in History of Art and Archaeology of East Asia at SOAS – University of London, UK, and a BA in Journalism and Politics, Universita di Genova, Italy. She is fluent in four European languages and learning Mandarin.
